Vehicle Description:
For your consideration is a re-creation of a true American classic; the 1967 Shelby GT 350.
Dressed in a striking custom Sunlit Gold exterior with classic black vinyl interior, this Shelby GT 350 tribute turns heads and attracts attention wherever it goes. This car started life at the Los Angles assembly plant as a 1968 289 cu. in., C-code, 4 speed Mustang Sportsroof (fastback) but has been transformed into a very righteous tribute to the classic 1967 Shelby GT 350.
Engine/Drivetrain:
Sitting between the front fenders is a spirited performance and completely rebuilt 289 cu. in. V8 with 302 heads, Pertronix electronic ignition, new battery, tube headers, topped off by a set of period-correct and rare Holley Tri-power carburetors on an aluminum intake manifold, complete with a cast aluminum oval air-cleaner and “Shelby” cast aluminum valve covers. A twist of the key instantly brings this potent, smooth and high-winding small block to life with no smoke, leaks, problems or over-heating issues.
Transmission is a top-loader 4 speed with the factory reverse lock-out shifter which glides through the gears effortlessly with no grinding or rattles.
Out back are 3.50 posi-traction gears putting the power to the ground via brand new B.F. Goodrich Radial T/A 225x60R15 tires mounted on new and period correct 15” Shelby “Magstar” wheels.
Interior:
Inside the cabin you will find all working factory gauges and functional electronics including a classic 8,000 rpm SunSuperII Tachometer, an AM/FM/Bluetooth OE-appearing radio and real wood Shelby 3-spoke steering wheel. Seats are the factory original style with a rare black vinyl front bench seat with fold-down arm rest, seat belts, and fold-down rear seat.
Chassis:
The underside is very clean and straight with new bushings, springs, ball joints, power steering, front disc brakes, rear air shocks, and a dual exhaust system with a great heart-pumping rumble.
Body / Paint:
The very straight and rust-free body has been painted in a custom Sunlit gold two-stage paint, which presents in excellent condition, with Wimbledon White Shelby GT stripes, all correct Shelby emblems, Shelby flip-open gas cap, fiberglass Shelby GT hood, decklid, side scoops, tail panel, as well as, the iconic front “In-Board” lights and “sequential” rear tail lamps.

The 1967-68 Mustang Sportsroof (fastback) body style is very rare and will always be a desirable, blue-chip investment (only 14% of all 67-68 Mustangs were produced with the Sportsroof!).
