For Sale: 1964 Porsche 356 in Huntington Station, New York

INCOMING INVENTORY...--Light Ivory with Dark Blue leather interior, Dark Blue German Square Weave carpeting, 2.4 Liter "Polo" engine, 5-speed manual gearbox, Fully restored with Outlaw upgrades. This 356 C was produced on May 3, 1964 as per its Porsche Certificate of Authenticity. Well known by Autosport Designs Inc for over 26 Years having been owned as part of Tom P personal collection for over 20 years! Meticulously serviced and enjoyed while in his care a full documented restoration with "Outlaw" upgrades was decided upon in 2016. Completely disassembled and stripped down to its bare tub and placed on a rotisserie, all floors/sheet metal was straightened, repaired or replaced as needed. Custom panels were fabricated to install a complete 356 4-Cam Carrera oiling system sourced. The Carrera oil tank, oil lines and oil coolers were then installed to keep the engine temperature cooling to the ultimate efficiency. Once installed, the entire underside was coated in preparation for assembly and the creation of "the ultimate Outlaw Cabriolet." A complete new wiring harness was installed, all trim was Anodized Chromed Powder coated and-or color matched and all mechanicals were either repaired, rebuilt, refinished or replaced. Everything from suspension components to braking system to the fuel system to all the gauges, absolutely everything was replaced or restored. At the center of it all is a 2.4 Liter Polo Motor with custom twin plug, 993 super sport cams, 48 I.D.A. Carburetors, Electronic ignition and a 911 Fan housing. A complete custom stainless steel sport exhaust system with heat was fabricated and installed. Power is fed through a Wevo modified 741 gearbox utilizing 901 internals culminating in a 5-speed manual gearbox rather than the 356's original 4-speed. The Complete interior was insulated in preparation for the Dark Blue leather and Dark Blue square weave carpeting to be installed along with an insulated Dark Blue cloth top and top boot. The 356 comes with over 1,500 photos as well as with huge accounting of all receipts showing the monetary expenditure spent to create this Ultimate 356 Outlaw restoration. The photos and documentation alone show the enormous amount of love, devotion and money that was poured into this Outlaws superb restoration-build. The outcome is truly something to behold. At first glance, one may see a stock 356 C Cabriolet, but upon closer inspection and noticing it's dual stainless steel sport exhaust tips and Carrera rear valance will elude to something more. Raise the engine lid and at first glance one will immediately realize just how special this Outlaw is. Special yes, but even more special when one gets the chance to get behind the wheel and feel the power that adds to this already superb rotisserie restoration.  Not easily duplicated, this is a very special and superb 356 C Cabriolet Outlaw creation.
