1956 Chevrolet Suburban Carryall NAPCO 4x4 - 261 Six Rare 1956
Chevrolet Suburban Carryall NAPCO 4x4 with a 261 inline-six,
4-speed manual transmission, and original NAPCO equipment. The
truck features the original NAPCO fuel tank, locking hubs, rebuilt
front knuckles, and a Spicer 23 transfer case rather than the
Rockwell unit. It also retains the original front seat and factory
Hydro-Vac brake booster. The current owner has had this Suburban
for 30 years and has the title. It runs and drives and offers an
excellent opportunity to restore a highly desirable NAPCO Carryall.
The vehicle was located near a fire that consumed a building. The
heat did not affect the metal, but it damaged the paint, rubber,
and glass. All passenger-side windows are now cracked, and there is
no windshield. Some of the passenger-side photos were taken before
the fire-related heat damage. A matching front chrome steel wheel
is included; a smaller wheel is currently fitted so the vehicle can
be driven. A rare and significant Chevrolet 4x4 with long-term
ownership and its original NAPCO components. An excellent
restoration candidate with tremendous potential. Important
