Description
This 1988 Rolls-Royce Silver Spur has undergone an extensive restoration and mechanical refurbishment, along with a number of tasteful modern upgrades. Considerable time and investment have gone into the body, mechanical systems, suspension, interior, and accessories.
The car was extensively disassembled during restoration and the body was repainted inside and out, including the jambs and interior painted surfaces. A new windshield and rear window were installed, and the exterior retains the unmistakable Rolls-Royce presence with its iconic grille, Spirit of Ecstasy, chrome trim, and custom wheels.
Mechanically, significant work has been completed. The entire fuel delivery and fuel-injection system was redone from the fuel tank through the injectors. The suspension has also been replaced and fitted with air shocks. The vehicle has been serviced by a master technician, and a video is available showing the engine starting and running.
The interior was extensively redone while intentionally retaining the original Rolls-Royce leather seats. The original leather shows age, patina, cracking, and wear consistent with its age, while much of the surrounding interior has been renewed. The headliner has been replaced, and the cabin retains its beautiful burled-wood trim, rear veneered picnic tables, deep carpeting, and classic Rolls-Royce appointments.
Modern additions include a custom wood-rim steering wheel, Sony touchscreen multimedia system with Bluetooth, and a DroneMobile remote system providing remote start/stop capability along with real-time vehicle location tracking.
