this 1965 Chevrolet Impala, finished in a deep Viper Red exterior
over a Saddle Tan interior. This classic convertible combines the
long, unmistakable lines of the Impala with an extensive list of
performance, suspension, cooling, and interior upgrades designed
around cruising and drivability.
Under the hood is a 427 CID V8 equipped with FiTech fuel injection
and long-tube headers. Power is sent through a freshly rebuilt
700R4 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, controlled by
a floor-mounted Lokar shifter. A serpentine belt system with
aluminum pulleys, Be Cool aluminum radiator with electric fan, and
custom dual exhaust further complement the drivetrain.
Underneath, Hotchkis Sport suspension helps update the handling,
while variable-ratio power steering and power disc brakes provide
additional control. A 12-bolt rear end with 3.55 gears and limited
slip puts the power to the pavement. The car rides on 17-inch
Cragar 390 Series Street Pro chrome wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich
radial tires.
Inside, the Saddle Tan cabin features custom power bucket seating
with cloth inserts, a custom center console, and AutoMeter gauges
integrated into the dash. A leather-wrapped Grant steering wheel
mounted to an Ididit tilt column adds another custom touch, while
an Alpine CD/radio system with an auxiliary input provides updated
audio. Vintage Heat and A/C adds comfort for cruising with the top
up or down.
The power convertible top opens the cabin for classic open-air
cruising, while the Viper Red finish, detailed engine compartment,
custom trunk treatment, and polished exterior accents complete the
presentation.

Hotchkis suspension, 12-bolt limited-slip rear end, upgraded
cooling system, and extensively updated interior, this 1965
