GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this extraordinary 1965
Chevrolet Chevelle Restomod, a fully custom build that combines
classic Chevelle styling with modern LSX performance and an
incredible level of craftsmanship. Originally completed in 2016
with a documented final build price of $222,593.23, this Chevelle
was built without compromise and features extensive custom
fabrication, one-off components, and high-end performance equipment
throughout.
The heart of this build is a GM LSX 376ci crate V8 equipped with a
Magnuson 2300 supercharger, Holley EFI, upgraded camshaft, and a
custom pulley system. Power is sent through a Level 5 4L80
automatic transmission to a Fab 9 rear end. A Ron Davis dual-pass
LS-swap radiator keeps the engine temperature under control, while
custom exhaust featuring MS headers, MS mufflers, and
valve-controlled header dumps gives the car an aggressive
soundtrack when desired.
The Evening Orchid exterior is complemented by a fully custom steel
one-off hood that was hand fabricated specifically for the build.
The chassis received an equally comprehensive treatment with a
painted frame and support rails, custom front suspension,
integrated coilovers, a roll bar, and mini-tubbed rear wheel wells.
Wilwood 6-piston front and 4-piston rear disc brakes provide
serious stopping power, while Billet Specialties Daytona wheels are
wrapped in massive 315-series rear tires and 235-series fronts for
an aggressive stance.
Inside, the Chevelle features a completely custom full-leather
interior finished in Violet with custom stitching, rear bucket
seats, custom door panels with armrests, a custom headliner, billet
interior door handles, billet door sill plates, and a custom
steering wheel. The dashboard is finished in a striking combination
of Lilac, Silver, and Purple leather and incorporates a Kenwood
infotainment screen. Vintage Air provides modern climate control,
while billet accessories and carefully finished trim continue the
custom theme throughout the cabin.
Even the trunk received the same level of attention, featuring a
lead and carpet-wrapped finish that complements the rest of the
interior. Underneath, the painted chassis and support rails
showcase the quality of the build rather than simply hiding it.
Billet Specialties valve covers, a Holley oil catch can, custom
exhaust, and the meticulously finished engine compartment
demonstrate that this Chevelle was designed to be impressive from
every angle.
This 1965 Chevrolet Chevelle is the result of an extensive
ground-up custom build with an extraordinary amount of time,
fabrication, and investment behind it. From the supercharged LSX
376 and Level 5 4L80 transmission to the Wilwood brakes, Fab 9 rear
end, custom suspension, one-off hood, and completely bespoke
leather interior, virtually every aspect has been upgraded or
custom fabricated.
With a documented final build price of $222,593.23, completion in
2016, and an unmistakable Evening Orchid finish, this Chevelle is
much more than a traditional restomod. It is a highly engineered,
professionally built custom muscle car created for someone who
appreciates both serious performance and exceptional
craftsmanship.
