This car was ordered by it's original owner back in 1968, we are the second owner. It was painted in 2007 in Orange Pearl Metallic and the vinyl top was not reinstalled (and the 327 emblems were shaved in the process.) The paint is beautiful.
The engine is now a ZZZ GM Performance crate engine with aluminum heads, roller tip rockers, roller cam. The transmission has been upgraded also with a TCI Streetfighter Turbo 350, stage 1 stall converter and shift kit. Its has the original rear end but it's been beefed up with an Eaton Positraction unit with 3.08 gears.
It has a Holly Sniper fuel injection unit and upgraded gauges...but I also have all the original gauges and carburettor.
The radiator has been upgraded to aluminum and an electric fan. The headers are ceramic coated and the front brakes have been upgraded to Wilwood 11' discs.
The interior is mostly original, but it has a new headliner and the front seats were reupholstered with leather center inserts, new foam, and springs.
Another upgrade is the RS headlight covers have been converted to a more reliable electric system, versus the original vacuum operation units.
