This 1985 Ford F250 XL is a clean and solid Bullnose pickup that
spent its life in California and Idaho. The last owner had this
truck for 12 years using it as an extra vehicle. The body on this
truck is clean and straight. It was repainted years ago in its
original color of Wimbledon White and the paint still looks great!
All of the chrome and trim appear to be original and still looks
nice. The underside of this truck is exceptionally clean (you can
still see original primer on the floors). We found no rust issues
with this truck.
The interior is also really nice. The bench seat is out of a newer
model Ford and was professionally reupholstered. The door panels,
rubber floor mat, and dash bezel are original and nice. It does
have a newer dash cover installed because the original dash was
cracking. The headlights, taillights, brakelights, and turn signals
are all working. The gauges all work. This horn, heat, and
windshield wipers work. It does have an aftermarket radio which is
working.
Mechanically this truck is excellent and it runs and drives great!
The engine is the original 7.5L 460 V8 that runs strong with no
issues or red flags that we found. The transmission is the C6
Automatic that shifts nice and it is mated to the Borg Warner
Manual Shift transfer case. The 4WD works like it should. It has
the Ford 10.25 rear axle with 3.55 gears and a factory limited
slip. The front axel is the Dana 44 TTB with 3.55 gears. It is
sitting on a set of Ford factory Steel Wheels with 235/85/16
tires.
We drive what we sell so that we can give you a first hand and
accurate report on how the vehicle runs and drives. Our pictures
are never touched up or photoshopped. What you see is an accurate
representation of the vehicle. We take consistent pictures and show
you everything so you can get a true representation of the
vehicle.
