Under the hood is a 350 CID V8 paired with an SBC Ramjet fuel-injected V8 setup, providing a modern approach to powering this vintage pickup. The engine is backed by an automatic transmission with overdrive, giving the truck the convenience of modern highway cruising. The chassis is equipped with power steering and power brakes, while a 9-bolt rear end completes the drivetrain. The truck also features a hydraulic brake cylinder mounted to the passenger side of the frame. According to the owner, the truck is built on a Pete and Jakes chassis, although there is no documentation available to verify this.
