Here at Sunnyside Classics, there are just some cars that make us smile, this is one of those. A Connecticut Dragway Class winner from 1969, this wonderful old '61 Vette has a wonderful history and look - it's just that kinda car.

Please, if you are looking for a perfect paint '61 that you are going to take to Bloomington Judging, Stop Reading. This is an old-school drag car that has perfect road manners and has a beautiful old lacquer patina paint on it. The paint has bumps and bruises but presents nicely. This is a car that you hop in, turn the key, mash the gas and smile from ear to ear. When you get where you are going (quickly), just leave it and don't sweat that it's going to get dust on it. Relax, enjoy.

Powered by a mid-'70s 350 Corvette engine that is topped with an Edelbrock intake and three deuces, she's a runner for sure. Backed by a T10 4-speed that operates perfectly, the rear is comprised of an Eaton Posi unit with Yukon gears and it also has a trans scatter shield.

We have vintage Cragar wheels for that special look, Hooker Headers for that special sound and lots of receipts coupled with ownership history back to the '70s. The underside is clean and straight, and this is one strong-running '61. We do have a serviceable soft top present with bows.
