For consignment, a 1932 Ford Model B roadster showing 63,833 miles, but the true miles are unknown due to a PA title exemption. This fiberglass bodied beauty has miles deep paint and a sleek, skate-like profile. Watch the crowd part when you turn into the show in this open aired hot rod!

Exterior
This Dark Blue Metallic is almost mystical in its ability to reflect light and mildly change shades depending on direct and it's accented with some light blue and white pinstriping on the tail and color matched radiator shell. The other complementary bit of white is reserved for the front axle and suspension and the headers and exhaust pipes. Black wire wheels provide a slightly sinister stance with 18-inch in front and 20-inch in back and staggered size tires for that classic hot rod profile. The windscreen is framed in chrome and so are the unique tail lights. Imperfections include a bubble or two, a single chip, and some minor inclusions. Overall, it presents beautifully.

Interior
The bucket style dictates there are no doors here and while we've certainly seen that before, the configuration of the front seats which essentially splits a bench to make room for the center console, is unique. It's all done in white stitched vinyl here, the perfect contrast and complement to the exterior. Silver flake on the rim of the three spoke steering wheel fronts a body colored dash, with pinstriping and vintage style gauges arranged in a row. There's also a tachometer riding the steering column, a Stewart Warner Motor Minder to the left, and a blue ball handle at the top of the floor mounted shifter. Kick panels take on the pleated white vinyl and the floor takes on black carpet while an armrest and cupholders in the middle make this adult toy a bit more commuter friendly.

Drivetrain
Hanging out front is a 292ci V8 with finned, Thunderbird valve covers and 3 2-barrel carburetors over a polished Fenton intake manifold. Behind it, a 3-speed manual transmission sending power to the Ford 9" rear. Headers are the only mode of exhaust and all four pipes run together to terminate just beyond the firewall.

Undercarriage
Frame rails, belly pans, axles and a lot more are painted white underneath with plenty of contrasting blue components as well, creating a striking underside that's visually satisfying. Drum brakes are on all four wheels and suspension consists of transverse leaf spring up front and swing arms with air bags in the back.

Drive-Ability
We climb over the sidewalks and enter the comfortable, open cabin and bring the V8 to life with a mighty roar. Our quick lap proves that this car is easy to love and easy to drive, with good power and great handling thanks to its low center of gravity. We note there are no front turn signals and there's a rubbing noise coming from the engine above 2500 rpms, possibly the flywheel rubbing the block plate. Beyond that, all other functions operate as they should. While Classic Auto Mall represents that these functions were working at the time of our test drive, we cannot guarantee these functions will be working at the time of your purchase.

It may be a Model B, but in our book this is a Model E, as in E-ticket ride! This is amusement park fun for big boys, a serious cruiser and rolling work of art, not for the extra introverted. Be prepared for conversations at the gas station and thumbs ups on your way to the car show or local ice cream shop!
