This 1982 Jeep CJ7 is a rugged, custom-built example with classic
Jeep styling and plenty of V8 power. Finished in a wild custom
paint scheme combining deep red and bright orange with colorful
graphics, this CJ7 has a look that immediately separates it from a
standard restoration. Its lifted stance, aggressive tires,
beadlock-style wheels, black fender flares, and auxiliary lighting
give it the purposeful appearance you want from an old-school
Jeep.
Under the hood is a rebuilt 390ci V8 paired with a 3-speed manual
transmission, giving this lightweight CJ7 a serious step up in
performance from its original powertrain. Power steering makes it
easier to maneuver both on and off the pavement, while power brakes
provide added confidence behind the wheel.
The interior keeps things straightforward with black vinyl bucket
seats, a center console, aftermarket gauges, and the familiar
no-nonsense CJ dashboard layout. A roll bar surrounds the passenger
compartment, and a bikini top provides some overhead coverage while
maintaining the open-air experience these Jeeps are known for.
This CJ7 is currently configured without doors or a hardtop,
putting the emphasis squarely on open-air driving. A rear-mounted
full-size spare, substantial bumpers, side steps, and its lifted
suspension complete the trail-ready appearance. With its rebuilt
390 V8, manual transmission, custom paint, and unmistakable CJ
character, this is a fun, attention-grabbing Jeep built for someone
who wants something far removed from stock.
