Ferrari 612 SCAGLIETTI F1, 2004. One owner, 102,000 km, service
books from new.
Since 1947, Ferrari has been the very embodiment of Italian
passion, speed and exclusivity. Under the leadership of Enzo
Ferrari, the brand grew into one of the most iconic car
manufacturers in the world. The experience Ferrari gained in
Formula 1 and motorsport flowed directly into its road cars, giving
every Ferrari a unique combination of performance, engineering and
emotion.
The Ferrari 612 Scaglietti was introduced in 2004 as the successor
to the beloved Ferrari 456M GT. Where Ferrari had already shown
with the 456 that a comfortable four-seater could also be a fully
fledged Gran Turismo, the 612 Scaglietti took this concept to an
even higher level. The car was named after Sergio Scaglietti, the
legendary coachbuilder responsible for some of Ferrari's most
iconic models of the 1950s and 1960s.
The 612 Scaglietti was revolutionary at the time. The model
featured a full aluminium spaceframe, developed in collaboration
with Alcoa, which made the car considerably lighter and stiffer
than its predecessor. Beneath the long bonnet lies the impressive
5.7 litre V12 engine, good for no less than 540 bhp. This naturally
aspirated twelve-cylinder delivers its power in a characteristic,
linear manner and produces a soundtrack that only a Ferrari V12 can
create.
The story continues on our website, where the full file is kept as
