This 2022 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 3LT Coupe combines the C8
Corvette's exotic mid-engine architecture with an unusually strong
factory option list, an upscale Natural leather interior, and just
approximately 10,500 miles.
Finished in timeless Black, this Corvette has an aggressive,
understated appearance that works particularly well with the
Spectra Gray machined-face wheels and black composite rocker
extensions. Open the door, however, and the car completely changes
personality. The Natural leather cabin provides a dramatic contrast
to the exterior and gives this Stingray a much more exotic feel
than the typical all-black interior.
More importantly, this isn't simply a good-looking C8. With a
$83,155 original sticker price, it was ordered with several of the
options buyers specifically look for in a well-equipped
Stingray.
6.2L LT2 V8 & 8-Speed Dual-Clutch Transmission
Mounted behind the passenger compartment is Chevrolet's naturally
aspirated 6.2-liter LT2 V8, paired with the Corvette's
lightning-fast 8-speed dual-clutch transmission.
The C8's mid-engine configuration fundamentally changed the
Corvette, placing the powertrain where it could provide
significantly improved weight distribution, traction, and handling
while retaining the naturally aspirated V8 character that made the
Corvette famous.
This example also carries the optional Performance Exhaust, adding
a more aggressive exhaust note and giving the driver selectable
exhaust character depending on driving mode.
The engine bay receives additional visual attention through the
Engine Appearance Package and factory Edge Red engine cover, which
looks particularly striking beneath the rear glass.
Highly Desirable Front Lift System
One of the most useful options fitted to this Corvette is the Front
Lift Adjustable Height System with Memory, which originally added
$2,260 to the sticker price.
The system allows the front of the Corvette to be raised when
approaching steep driveways, parking entrances, speed bumps, or
other obstacles that could otherwise threaten the low front
fascia.
Its memory functionality can retain frequently used locations,
making it one of the most practical C8 options for anyone who
intends to actually drive and enjoy the car.
$1,995 Dual Roof Package
This car was also ordered with Chevrolet's Body-Color Dual Roof
Package, which included both:
Body-color removable roof panel
Transparent removable roof panel
Roof-panel storage pouch
That gives the next owner two distinctly different configurations.
Run the painted roof for a seamless coupe appearance or install the
transparent panel for a brighter, more open cabin experience.
Both panels remain removable, allowing the C8 to transform into an
open-air sports car without giving up the structural profile of the
coupe.
3LT Premium Interior
The 3LT package represents the highest interior trim level offered
on the Stingray and is immediately evident in this car.
The cabin features beautiful Natural leather GT2 bucket seats
surrounded by extensive leather-wrapped surfaces, contrasting
stitching, suede-trimmed upper areas, and carbon-fiber interior
accents.
Factory 3LT equipment includes:
GT2 power bucket seats
Heated and ventilated seating
Heated steering wheel
Driver and passenger memory
Power lumbar and seat-bolster adjustment
Leather seating surfaces
Custom leather-wrapped interior package
Suede microfiber-wrapped upper interior
Carbon-fiber interior trim
The Natural upholstery provides the kind of rich contrast normally
associated with far more expensive European exotics and works
exceptionally well against the Corvette's Black exterior.
Technology & Driver Equipment
Despite its performance credentials, the C8 is also an extremely
capable grand-touring car.
Equipment includes the Chevrolet Infotainment 3 Premium system with
navigation, an 8-inch touchscreen, wireless Apple CarPlay and
Android Auto, wireless device charging, SiriusXM capability, and
Chevrolet's excellent Bose Performance Series 14-speaker sound
system.
The driver also gets:
Head-Up Display
12-inch Driver Information Center
Performance Data and Video Recorder
Front and rear HD cameras
Front curb-view camera
Side Blind-Zone Alert
Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
Keyless entry and push-button start
Remote vehicle start
Dual-zone automatic climate control
The Performance Data Recorder is an especially desirable Corvette
feature, allowing the driver to record video along with vehicle
performance data for spirited drives or track use.
Wheels & Exterior Equipment
The car rides on optional 19-inch front and 20-inch rear
five-trident-spoke aluminum wheels, finished with machined faces
and Spectra Gray-painted accents.
The wheels alone represented a $1,495 factory option and complement
the Black exterior without overpowering the clean lines of the
C8.
Additional exterior equipment includes LED headlights,
power-folding heated mirrors, the aforementioned black composite
rocker extensions, and the removable roof system.
$83,155 Original MSRP
According to the accompanying window sticker, this Corvette began
with a base price of $72,850 and received $9,010 in factory and
dealer-installed options before destination.
