For sale by a private individual is this outstanding 1957 Chevrolet 210 2-door sedan powered by a 406 cu. in. small block Chevy V8, backed by a Muncie close ratio 4-speed and 9” Ford differential. The car has been treated to a ‘frame on’ build with just about every nut, bolt, latch, and screw replaced. Always garaged since completed approximately 27 years ago and driven less than 1,000 miles.

The torch red 2- stage urethane paint is almost flawless and the body on this ’57 is exceptionally straight. The appears to be no evidence of bubbling or cracking anywhere. The chrome and stainless are in excellent condition as well as the glass. New wiring throughout the car including harnesses.
The small block Chevrolet engine has a slight over bore with a ‘Thumper’ hydraulic cam, high performance fuel pump, Edelbrock Scorpion intake manifold, 700 cfm Holley carburetor, long tube headers, 2 ½” exhaust system with FlowMaster mufflers, and electronic ignition. The fuel system is all new including the gas tank and braided lines with AN fittings.
Transmission is an M21 Muncie 4-speed with a Hurst ‘bench seat’ style shifter.
The suspension is completely new from the sway bars and bushings to the springs. The 9” Ford differential houses a Gleason center section (similar to a Detroit Locker) with 3.73:1 gears. Power brakes with discs up front and drums in the rear. Also has CPP power steering. Traction bars are by Competition Engineering. Tires and wheels are 235/55R/15 rear and 205/75R/15 front on polished American Racing Torque Thrusts.
The interior is a beige tweed with matching carpeting. It is in perfect condition, showing no stains, split seams, or tears. The stock dashboard was redone and houses an Autometer tachometer and fuel gauge with temperature, oil pressure, and voltmeter mounted underneath. An aftermarket radio and cassette player with 4-speaker stereo fits in the stock radio location. Clock does not work. You will also notice all of the wiring was redone and neatly placed up in the dashboard and not hanging down.
The Chevy is just plain beautiful, and it runs as strong as it looks.
