1979 CHEVROLET G20 CUSTOM CONVERSION VAN Terry 952-451-2104.
$39,500 ONE OWNER 58,393 MILES SHOWING PERIOD CUSTOM PAINT ORIGINAL
CUSTOM INTERIOR CAMPER EQUIPPED This remarkable one-owner 1979
Chevrolet G20 custom conversion van is a highly preserved survivor
from the golden age of American custom vans. Showing 58,393 miles,
it retains an extraordinary collection of period custom features,
accessories and interior appointments. The exterior features
elaborate hand-painted, Disney-themed airbrush artwork
incorporating Mickey Mouse, Minnie Mouse, Donald Duck, Goofy,
Pluto, Dumbo and other characters into detailed scenic murals. The
artwork is complemented by extensive hand-painted pinstriping,
custom body moldings, running boards, fender flares and a
full-length roof rack. Adding to the period appearance are vintage
multi-spoke custom wheels wrapped in BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires.
Custom character artwork is etched into the side glass, providing
another unique detail rarely found on surviving conversion vans.
The interior remains a true trip back to the late 1970s.
Diamond-tufted captain's chairs, deep-pile carpeting, upholstered
walls, curtains and a rear lounge create the classic custom-van
atmosphere. The rear living area includes a pedestal table and
vintage television along with refrigerator, stove, sink and air
conditioning. Even the small details have survived, including the
van's original Chevrolet floor mats, one featuring period Chevy van
graphics. Another standout feature is its custom musical horn
system, a quintessential period accessory that adds even more
personality to this already distinctive conversion. The engine
compartment presents in clean condition and retains its period
appearance. Power is delivered through an automatic transmission.
Most importantly, this van has remained with one owner, helping
explain the preservation of so many difficult-to-replace custom
components and period details. HIGHLIGHTS * One owner * 58,393
