1991 Mustang LX "Notchback" - Absolute time capsule example of the iconic Foxbody that America loves and everyone searches for! Only 7,229 of the desirable "notch" models were produced for 1991 and this one has been a 1-owner car since purchased new while never being offered for sale until now. Car was daily driven for the early stages in life then put away and only used as a weekend cruiser since the early 2000's. Meticulously maintained and routinely serviced with the documented history to prove it. Factory "LX" model with original 5.0L-V8 and 5-speed manual transmission. Nicely equipped with power steering and power disc brakes and still completely un-modified with the exception of an Eelbrock Catback exhaust system which was installed in the late 90's. Car sounds as good as it looks with that proper Foxbody rumble but without any rattles, shakes or road noise. An honest pleasure to drive at any speeds and very tight through all the gears. Great stance with excellent original Pony wheels wrapped in newer Hankook radial tires. Exterior shows very well overall in the original RARE shade of "Wild Strawberry" metallic, which only 662 were built. Paint is very nice from front to back with plenty of shine however there is one spot beginning to bubble on driver's front fender (pictured). All original tinted glass is great and everything closes/shuts with ease. Interior is all original and shows wonderful throughout. Seats are plush with very little wear except for a small spot on side bolster of driver's seat (pictured) and the rear seat was apparently only sat in twice. Dash and console are free of any cracks and every single power option works as it should. Factory A/C system still runs on R-12 but blows and operates cold. Trunk is clean with original mat, cardboard, spare and jack kit. Engine bay is nice and tidy as one would expect and retains an overall original look. These cars have again skyrocketed in popularity and values continue to rise with the age group of collectors in today's market. In a world flooded with hot rod hatchbacks and modified street cars, it's great to see one that actually survived all the mustang mayhem. Very tough to find this model, in this condition with such a well cared for history.
