This 1965 Chevrolet Corvair Corsa convertible is powered by a replacement rear-mounted 164ci flat-six engine paired with a four-speed manual transmission sending power to the rear wheels. The engine is equipped with an Isky camshaft, MSD Digital 6AL ignition box, chrome intake runners and a Holley four-barrel carburetor. A dual exhaust system is fitted with Flowmaster Flow FX mufflers. The car has a fully independent suspension and rides on 15-inch American Racing wheels mounted with 235/50 Toyo Proxes R888R tires. Stopping power is provided by front disc and rear drum brakes. Originally finished in Tahitian Turquoise, the body was repainted red and is equipped with a replacement black convertible soft-top, quad headlights and taillights, dual side mirrors, bright rocker moldings and bumpers. The interior features black vinyl seat covers, replaced seat cushions and carpets, a padded dashboard, heater, windshield defroster, Boss CD stereo, locking glove box and lap belts. No speakers are installed. A two-spoke steering wheel fronts a 140-mph speedometer, 6,000-rpm tachometer, analog clock, and gauges for fuel level, manifold pressure and cylinder-head temperature. Additional interior features include tinted glass, Comfort and Convenience Group, and a padded dash. The trim tag identifies a build date of the sixth week of March at the Los Angeles, California, assembly plant. According to the seller, the engine and transmission have been rebuilt.
