Rarely do you find an OBS Ford pickup that combines low mileage,
originality, desirable equipment, and excellent overall condition
quite like this 1993 Ford F-250 XLT Extended Cab 4x4. Recently
acquired from Oregon, this well-preserved example shows just 92,063
miles and had only two owners prior to our acquisition.
Finished in Oxford White over a dark gray tweed cloth interior,
this F-250 remains highly original and presents with the character
and substance that have made these trucks so sought after. Under
the hood is Ford's legendary 460 cubic-inch V8 paired with an
automatic transmission and Ford's proven four-wheel-drive system.
The truck runs and drives excellent, making it just as practical
for getting to work as it is for enjoying a piece of classic Ford
truck history.
The XLT trim brings a strong list of factory features, including
power steering, power windows, power brakes, power locks, cruise
control, air conditioning, bucket seats with center console,
folding rear seat, sliding rear window, auxiliary power point, and
dual fuel tanks. Outside, the truck is equipped with aluminum
wheels, full-length aluminum running boards, tow mirrors, a tow
package, bug guard, and a bed mat.
Today, the truck remains in excellent overall original condition.
The original interior shows very well throughout, with only some
expected wear to the driver's-side carpet. The Oxford White
exterior retains a deep, glossy appearance with fewer-than-normal
bumps and bruises for a truck of this age. The bed clearly saw its
intended use and has some areas of missing paint, but remains
structurally excellent. Underneath, the frame and underside retain
their original condition and exhibit outstanding original
structure.
The 460 V8 starts, runs, and drives strong and smooth, while the
automatic transmission shifts properly. The four-wheel-drive system
engages and disengages as it should, and the truck performs
confidently on the road. Recent documented service adds to its
appeal. At 87,000 miles, service included a new distributor cap and
rotor, fuel filter, O2 sensor, PCV valve, and spark plugs and
wires. At 90,000 miles, the truck received comprehensive brake
service, including new calipers, rotors, pads, and master
cylinder.
The Original Body Style Ford trucks remain highly desirable, and
examples with fewer than 100,000 miles are becoming increasingly
difficult to find. With its desirable XLT trim, extended cab, 4x4
configuration, 460 V8, low mileage, two-owner history, and highly
original condition, this F-250 is a standout example of the classic
OBS Ford pickup.
Turn-key and ready to work, haul, explore, or simply enjoy, this is
an excellent opportunity to own a well-preserved piece of Ford
truck history.
