A genuine 1967 A-Code California Fastback with the aggressive GT500CR/Eleanor-inspired look, desirable history, and the right upgrades to actually enjoy on the road, won many trophies at car shows.
Powered by a rebuilt 302ci Ford V8 with Edelbrock aluminum heads, Edelbrock intake, 4-barrel carburetor, Sealed Power pistons, ARP hardware and a Melling high-volume oil pump. Paired with an AOD 4-speed automatic transmission with overdrive, making it comfortable for highway cruising.
Upgrades include power rack-and-pinion steering, power-assisted front disc brakes, drop spindles, American Racing Torq Thrust wheels, BFGoodrich Radial T/A tires, Lokar shifter and dual exhaust.
The car comes with a Deluxe Marti Report, build/service records, copy of the California title and BC Collector registration. I am the 3rd owner, and the previous owner owned the car for more than 24 years.
It already delivers the Eleanor/GT500CR-inspired appearance without the typical six-figure cost of a full custom build and presents beautifully in person.
Known minor items: driver-side door could benefit from minor hinge/alignment adjustment minor gap shown in photos, a few minor paint chips/scuffs shown in the photos, slow oil pan gasket seep, need new gasket and the exhaust is on the louder side for my personal taste. The car runs and drives very well and inspections are welcome.
