DESCRIPTION:
1922 Buick 4 door convertible Series 22 powered by the 242 cu. in. over head valve in-line 6-cylinder and backed by a 3-speed manual transmission. The car is original down to the mechanical rear brakes. Little is known about the Buick as it is being sold off as part of an estate.

Apparently, it was purchased over 20 years ago and long after it had been restored. It did run for several years and then developed a ‘valve issue’ which inhibited the Buick from running. The Buick has not been started for at least 2 years. The engine is not ‘frozen’ or ‘locked up’. Some extra valves are included.
The body and paint are in fair condition showing little to no rust, but there are a few scratches, dings, and chips. The floor boards all look to be solid. When tested with a battery connected, the lights and gauges appear to work. The charging system is still 6-volt. The convertible top is in good condition and the rear quarter side curtains are included.
The seats and door panels look to be in very good condition with no evidence of tears or broken seams.
The chassis is original with a solid frame and suspension. The wooden wheels look like they are in good condition.
The original owner’s manual and mechanical guide are included with the sale.
