1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass / 442 Convertible Restomod For Sale 455 V8
* Sniper EFI * Overdrive * A/C This 1971 Oldsmobile Cutlass / 442
Convertible is a thoughtfully upgraded custom Restomod built with
an emphasis on drivability, comfort, and classic Oldsmobile
performance. Under the hood is a 455ci V8 equipped with Holley
Sniper II electronic fuel injection and backed by a CPT 200-4R
overdrive automatic transmission from California Performance
Transmission by Art Carr. This combination provides plenty of
big-block character while adding the convenience of fuel injection
and overdrive for more comfortable cruising. Cooling is handled by
a custom aluminum radiator with electric fans, and Vintage A/C
provides cold air for warm-weather driving. Power steering and
four-wheel power disc brakes with a Wilwood master cylinder further
improve everyday usability. The suspension has also received
substantial upgrades, including springs, shocks, Global West
tubular control arms, bushings, and related components. Together,
these improvements help give the car more modern and confident road
manners while retaining its classic muscle-car character. Inside,
youll find Dakota VHX gauges along with power windows and a Custom
Autosound stereo featuring Bluetooth and satellite capability,
kick-panel speakers, an amplifier, and additional audio components.
During the build, the car received replacement sheet metal along
with new seat covers, door felts, mats, and other components. The
convertible top and pump system were replaced, and the chrome was
renewed throughout. Additional details include billet hood hinges
and Holley RetroBright headlights. Highlights * 455ci V8 * Holley
