This 1998 Dodge Ram 3500 dually pickup is powered by a 5.9-liter
12-valve Cummins turbo-diesel engine featuring a Bosch P7100
mechanical injection pump known as the "P-Pump," paired with a
professionally built Muldoon's Performance Transmissions heavy-duty
47RE four-speed automatic transmission and four-wheel drive. The
transmission features a driver-controlled torque converter lockup
system. This truck represents the final model year of the more
reliable 12-valve Cummins before Dodge transitioned to the
electronically controlled 24-valve engine. It also features an
onboard power tuner that can change factory computer settings for
horsepower, torque or fuel economy by altering fuel delivery,
injection timing and transmission shift points. The truck is
equipped with a 4-inch suspension lift and rides on 35-inch
Yokohama Geolandar X-AT tires mounted on polished wheels. The
exterior features an extended cab, long dually bed and red finish.
The interior has gray upholstery along with the auxiliary A-pillar
instrumentation. Additional equipment includes a trailer-brake
controller and an upgraded sound system with a subwoofer enclosure.
