DESCRIPTION:
Up for sale by the original owners is this rare classic 1967 Chevrolet Caprice 2-door Coupe in the factory color of Marina Blue and a Blue cloth/vinyl interior. It is powered by the optional 327 cu. in. 275 horsepower V-8 with a factory Rochester Quadrajet 4-barrel carburetor, backed by a Turbo 400 automatic transmission, and 12-bolt rear differential. Factory options include power brakes, power steering, clock, and AM radio. It also came with factory Air Condition which has been switched to R-134 refrigerant, but the system needs to be charged. Other Included with the sale are the factory owner’s manuals and the Protect-o-Plate.

This Caprice has been garage kept for all its life and driven 146,000 miles. Regular maintenance was done including a recent exhaust system. It appears that the carburetor was rebuilt and most of the rubber lines have been replaced. The small block V8 is still running a ‘points-type’ of ignition. Unfortunately, there are no receipts for any prior work that was performed over the years.
The exact age of the exterior Marina Blue paint is a 2-stage urethane basecoat clearcoat estimated at being 15 years old and with little to no apparent bodywork. The exterior emblems, bumpers, and trim are all original and in excellent condition as well as the tinted glass. Exterior lights including headlights, taillights, and brake lights all work.
The interior is very original and shows some age with a few broken seams, but overall, it looks great. The factory speedometer/odometer and gauges function, but the AM radio and clock do not work.
If you are looking for an original one-owner Chevrolet that is a great example of the 1960’s “Full-Size” car. This Caprice belongs in your garage.
