With the 993, Porsche impressively concluded the era of the air-cooled 911 in 1993. The bodywork, designed by Tony Hatter, gave the classic 911 shape a modern, muscular appearance and is regarded by many enthusiasts as the most beautiful 911 ever built. Towards the end of production, the Carrera S appeared, a special version that was delivered from the factory with the wide widebody kit of the Turbo and the characteristic split grille on the hood, but without the large rear wing. Under the hood lies the 3.6-liter six-cylinder boxer engine, here paired with the automatic TipTronic transmission. This car is one of only 1,752 examples built and has covered 170,992 kilometers, verifiable through the original booklets and maintenance invoices included with the vehicle. The bumpers have been converted to EU specifications and the car was repainted in the past.
