This custom 1966 Chevrolet Chevelle 300 Deluxe is powered by a Dart 572ci V-8 engine dyno-tested at 682hp and 734 lb-ft of torque. The engine features 10.5:1 compression, a 9.8-inch deck height, Scat 4340 forged-steel crankshaft, Scat heavy-duty H-beam rods, Wiseco forged domed-top 2618 aircraft-alloy pistons rated for up to 900hp, AFR 325cc aluminum cylinder heads, 4130 chromoly pushrods, ARP bolts and studs, Cloyes Race Billet timing components, Scorpion Endurance aluminum roller rockers and an 8-quart oil pan. Fuel is supplied by a 950-cfm Quick Fuel carburetor tuned for premium pump gas. Additional equipment includes a March Performance Billet serpentine system, March billet power-steering pump, GZ Motorsports vacuum pump, Griffin aluminum radiator with dual electric fans and a new wiring harness. Power is routed through a built Performance Automatic "765R4" Pro-Touring four-speed automatic overdrive transmission equipped with a hardened input shaft, hardened pump rings, racing clutches and a 29-element sprag. A B&M ratchet shifter controls the transmission. A custom aluminum driveshaft connects to a Currie 9-inch rear end with 31-spline axles, upgraded studs, a 1350 yoke and 3.50 gears. Lemons headers handle the exhaust. The Detroit Speed front and rear suspension features 2-inch drop spindles, adjustable coilovers, tubular upper and lower control arms, front and rear sway bars, and a four-link setup. It is also equipped with power steering, and Wilwood four-wheel power disc brakes that feature slotted and cross-drilled rotors with stainless-steel brake lines. The exterior is finished in black and Peach Orange Metallic two-tone with custom striping. It features shaved bumpers, a shaved firewall, a body-color engine bay, blacked-out trim and door handles, a custom steel cowl hood with a dual-gauge pod, custom grille, LED sequential taillights, and billet hood and trunk hinges. It rides on black three-piece forged-aluminum 18-inch Forgeline DS3 wheels. The custom black leather interior features alligator inserts, a custom rear seat with built-in speakers, an Ididit tilt steering column, a Rockford Fosgate 400-watt amplifier and a JVC CD/DVD player.
