This custom 1969 Chevrolet Camaro is powered by a 5.7-liter LS1 V-8 engine paired with a six-speed manual transmission and Centerforce clutch. Performance equipment includes Hooker ceramic long-tube headers, a Street & Performance MAF and fuel-pressure regulator. The rear suspension features a polished Corvette C4 ZR1 Dana 44 independent rear suspension, sway bar, composite transverse spring and torque arm with new BCA hubs. The polished-aluminum front suspension is from a 2004 Corvette C5 and features power rack-and-pinion steering. ChassisWorks coilover springs provide adjustable ride height, while Corvette brakes and Earl's Performance brake lines bring this car to a halt. The original GM shell was media-blasted to bare metal and rotisserie-prepared inside and out. It retains the original GM quarter-panels, while the remaining sheet metal is new. Finished in Hugger Orange, it features RS/SS trim, new glass, chrome, trim and emblems, along with new Corvette wheels wrapped in Bridgestone tires. The interior is new and features AutoMeter gauges, a Covan's dash, B&M short-throw shifter, Detroit Speed variable-speed wiper system and Vintage Air cooling-system controls. Additional equipment includes new wiring, driveshaft and bearings, as well as a Detroit Speed battery hold-down. GM completed new-car service that included electronic control module interrogation, front and rear alignment, brake service, a safety check, park-brake inspection, speedometer and gauge calibration, air-conditioning inspection and charge, and an electrical check.
