This custom 1972 Chevrolet Chevelle is owned by Marcus Timmons, a
mentor, YouTube personality, author, artist and car enthusiast
known as BigHerc916. It is powered by a QMP-built LQ9 LS V-8 engine
with an Edelbrock E-Force supercharger producing 7 pounds of boost,
backed by a Hughes-built 4L60E automatic transmission. The engine
produced 535hp naturally aspirated on a dyno and, with the
supercharger, produces approximately 700hp+ at the flywheel and
580hp+ at the rear tire. This custom Chevelle was built by Matt
Hunt Muscle cars out of Westminster, California. Additional
equipment includes an Aeromotive fuel system, new fuel lines, new
tank with an internal pump, flex-fuel system, Holley Terminator X
ECU, four-core radiator and dual electric fans. A custom driveshaft
connects to a built 12-bolt Positraction rear end with 4.11 gears.
The 3-inch exhaust features MagnaFlow mufflers and electronic
cutouts. The boxed frame is equipped with QA1 coilovers, a
four-link rear suspension, new body bushings, Hotchkis sway bar,
Global West tubular control arms and a quick-ratio steering box.
Stopping is handled by Corvette disc brakes with a hydro-boost
system. The body was stripped to bare metal and painted custom
green. It features a 1970 Chevelle front clip with a custom grille,
rechromed bumpers, new windshield, new rear glass, and paint
protection film on the hood and front fenders. The Nutek wheels are
fitted with 305/35/20 rear tires and 245/35/19 front tires. The
interior features a Holley touchscreen dash, Painless wiring, power
windows, tilt steering, Vintage Air climate control, Bluetooth and
a touchscreen stereo with a backup camera. The audio system
includes Rockford Fosgate amplifiers, two 15-inch subwoofers, 6x9
speakers and kick-panel speakers. Additional equipment includes an
insulated trunk with dual Optima batteries. Included in the sale is
a one-of-one pen drawing titled "Kobe vs Michael," accompanied by a
Certificate of Authenticity from Marcus Timmons.
