This 1965 Chevrolet Corvette convertible is powered by a
matching-numbers, fuel-injected 327/375hp V-8 engine with Rochester
fuel injection, paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The
engine was completely rebuilt in March 2026 to factory L84
specifications, and the fuel-injection system was rebuilt in May
2025 by Jack Podell in Mishawaka, Indiana. Invoices for both are
included. It features a 3.70 Positraction rear differential. Power
disc brakes provide stopping power. The exterior is finished in
Milano Maroon and features a black soft-top. The black leather
interior features an N32 Teakwood steering wheel and a U69 AM/FM
mono radio manufactured by Custom Autosound Manufacturing
specifically for the 1965 Corvette. The radio brochure is included.
The chassis stamp above the driver's-side rear wheel well and
engine stamping on the front right side of the block are verified
matching derivatives of the VIN. Engine casting numbers indicate a
Feb. 9, 1965, casting date, while the final assembly date was Feb.
25, 1965. The "HG" suffix in the engine stamping identifies the
fuel-injected 327/375hp engine, and the "S" in the VIN identifies
St. Louis assembly. Chevrolet installed fuel injection in 771
Corvettes for 1965. Included documentation consists of the owner's
manual with dealer sleeve, 1965 Corvette color brochure and rebuild
invoices.
