This custom 1978 Toyota Land Cruiser FJ40 is powered by a Chevrolet 350ci small-block V-8 engine with Holley Sniper electronic fuel injection and a March Performance chrome pulley and accessory kit, backed by an AX15 five-speed manual transmission. The transfer case was rebuilt and serviced, while the front and rear differentials received new bearings and seals. A custom exhaust system is fitted. The Old Man Emu suspension was refreshed with upgraded shocks, and the power steering system was upgraded. The cooling system includes a heavy-duty aluminum radiator with dual electric fans. Four-wheel disc brakes include new brake lines and a proportioning valve. The exterior was refinished in a Desert Beige high-ruggedness coating and features a custom hood scoop, LED headlamps, rear LED lamps, PIAA running lights, steel side runners, a 4Plus heavy-duty rear bumper with a Yeti cooler-sized tray and spare wheel swing-out carrier and a 4Plus channel front bumper with a 10,000-pound winch. It rides on Mickey Thompson alloy wheels with hub-centric spacers. The custom interior features Chocolate distressed leather upholstery with exterior-color-matched edge piping, custom forward comfort seats and a forward-facing rear bench. The steering wheel is wrapped in leather with a color-matched center cap. New carpeting, interior trim and sound treatment were installed. Additional equipment includes a Dakota Digital gauge cluster, under-dash air conditioning with a custom condenser and brackets, a complete custom wiring harness and fuse block system, and replacement weatherstripping and seals.
