This one-owner 1979 Ford Ranchero 500 custom pickup is powered by a
rebuilt 400ci engine paired with an automatic transmission. The
front lower control arms were reworked, airbags were installed in
the rear coils, the front bumper was sectioned and the
shock-absorber mounts were removed. The body is finished in black
and has been chopped 2 inches, with bodywork finished in lead
without body filler. The door handles, emblems, gas tank filler and
trim pieces were shaved. The bed has a custom cover and storage
box, while the custom taillight assembly provides access to the
fuel filler as well as custom side-glass designed by Bent Glass.
The gray custom interior features a power leather seat, power
windows, remote entry access to the interior handle, air
conditioning converted to R134, cruise control, tilt steering and
remote mirrors.
