DESCRIPTION:
For sale by a private party is this nicely restored 1929 Ford Model A 2-Door sedan powered by the original 201 cu. in. inline 4-cylinder L-Head engine rated at 40 horsepower and the matching 3-speed manual transmission. The current owner purchased the Ford approximately 10 years ago after it had been about 90% restored.

The only upgrade is that it runs a 12-volt charging system using an alternator. It starts easier and faster. Additionally, turn signals and brake lights were also added.
The paint and body are in very good condition with only a few imperfections and scratches (see photos). Although the chrome on the radiator is peeling, it is still replate able. Both the front and rear bumpers are painted. The trim for the roof is included with the car as well as some spare parts. All the glass looks good and the windows go up and down easily.
The interior looks stock and the upholstery does not show any tears or holes. The original speedometer/odometer work and an aftermarket ammeter was added.
The brakes are still mechanical and the 2 rear drums were replaced because of being out of round. New 4.50/4.75/21 original style tires were also recently added.
The original inline 4-cylinder is believed to have been rebuilt and runs smoothly. A new exhaust system was also added.

Approximately 15 years ago I started an online service assisting owners of Classic, Vintage, and Muscle cars to sell their vehicles on the internet without them leaving the garage. These are private individual owners who do not want to deal with the public and all the endless phone calls, “Tire kickers”, and other nonsense that goes on when trying to sell a car.
