1950 Chrysler Royal Town & Country Station Wagon Woody • 1 of Only
599 Built • Original Car • Original Wood • 250 Inline 6
This is an exceptionally rare 1950 Chrysler Royal Town & Country
Station Wagon Woody, with only 599 examples produced for the 1950
model year.
This is a beautiful, highly original car that has received
excellent care throughout its life. The original wood remains with
the car, and the overall presentation is incredibly impressive for
a vehicle that is now more than 75 years old.
The car did receive a restoration back in the early 1970s, but it
has remained remarkably well preserved since then and still
presents beautifully today.

The 250.6 CID Spitfire inline-six is exceptionally smooth and gives
this Chrysler the kind of relaxed character you want in a vintage
cruiser.
Inside, the car is particularly impressive. The original interior
remains in incredible condition, giving the next owner a genuine
glimpse into what these cars were like when they were new.
And then there's the wood.
The original wood is one of the defining features of this Town &
Country and is exactly what makes these early Chrysler Woodies so
special. This is not a modern recreation or a car built to look old
- it is an original example that has survived and been cared
for.
The 1950 model year represented the final year of Chrysler's
wood-bodied Town & Country station wagon, making the Royal wagon an
especially significant piece of Chrysler history.
This is the kind of automobile that stops people at a car show. It
would be equally enjoyable sitting proudly at a show field or
slowly cruising through town with everyone turning their heads.
Extremely rare. Beautifully preserved. Original wood. Original
interior. Rust-free.
If you're a collector of significant American automobiles,
particularly pre-war/post-war Woodies, this is one you don't see
every day.
