This color is sure to catch some attention and move fast, so don't
hesitate! If you're in the market for a solid and clean 289 powered
first generation Mustang, look no further!
This 1966 Ford Mustang coupe is a C-Code from the factory, which
means it has housed the legendary 289 CID V8 under its hood since
the day it rolled off the assembly line. It has been given a little
more pep in its step with an Edelbrock aluminum intake and
Edelbrock 4-barrel carburetor. Back that up with an automatic
transmission, power steering, and power brakes and you have a
fantastic driver!
The exterior was repainted about 4 months ago in this stunning
Bright Blue Metallic paint over a very solid and straight body with
consistent gaps! The doors, hood, and trunk all close easily with
minimum effort, which lets you know it wasn't just slapped
together. All of the chrome and trim shows well and is paired with
radial tires wrapping 17" American Racing Torque Thrust wheels for
a bit of modern flair.
The interior also features a lot of new parts including the
upholstery, headliner, door panels, and AM/FM/AUX radio in the
dash. This Mustang runs and drives out very nicely and is ready to
show and go! Known inoperables at the time of this description are
the speedometer, horn, and reverse lights. I will check those out
and attempt to fix up until the car is sold.
