1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible, 383 Stroker V8, Muncie
4-Speed, Frame-Off Restoration, Lemans Blue, Two Tops This
beautiful 1969 Chevrolet Corvette Convertible has the looks,
performance, history, and equipment that make an early C3 Corvette
so much fun to own. Finished in stunning Lemans Blue with a Black
bucket-seat interior, this Corvette features a 383 Stroker V8,
Muncie 4-speed manual transmission, both hard and soft tops,
original Rally Wheels, and a complete frame-off restoration
completed in 2023. According to the previous owner, he was the
third owner of the Corvette and owned the car for approximately
nine years. The history gets even more interesting, as the car was
reportedly discovered in a barn in Kentucky before eventually
undergoing an extensive restoration. The Corvette was originally
equipped with a 350 V8 engine, which has since been modified and
built into a 383 cubic-inch Stroker V8. The engine was installed as
part of the restoration and, according to the previous owner, has
only accumulated the mileage currently showing on the working
odometer since being completed. Backing the 383 is the
all-important Muncie 4-speed manual transmission. The previous
owner reports that the Muncie was rebuilt last year, making this a
fantastic drivetrain combination for someone who actually wants to
get out and enjoy their classic Corvette. The complete bodywork and
frame-off restoration was finished in 2023. Considerable work has
been performed throughout the car, including new stainless steel
fuel lines and a new stainless steel fuel tank. It also has newer
tires, a new battery, new distributor, and recently serviced
brakes, including the emergency brake. One particularly nice safety
upgrade is the addition of lap and shoulder seatbelts, allowing the
car to retain its classic interior appearance while adding an
additional level of security for the driver and passenger. The
Lemans Blue exterior is an outstanding color for the dramatic early
C3 body. Combined with the Black bucket-seat interior and classic
Rally Wheels, this Corvette has exactly the look you want from a
late-1960s American sports car. It also comes with both tops. The
painted removable hardtop gives the Corvette an entirely different
appearance when installed, while the convertible soft top is newer.
Of course, on the right day, nothing beats putting the top down,
grabbing the 4-speed shifter, and enjoying the sound and
performance of the 383 Stroker V8. Highlights and Features 1969

another strong point of this Corvette. The previous owner retained
a substantial amount of paperwork detailing repairs, restoration
work, and maintenance performed over approximately the last five or
six years. That kind of history is always valuable when purchasing
a classic car and helps tell the story of the time and money
invested in bringing this Corvette to its current condition. The
1969 Corvette represents one of the best-looking years of the C3
generation. The long hood, pronounced fenders, hidden headlights,
sweeping body lines, and unmistakable Coke-bottle profile created a
design that still looks aggressive more than 55 years later. This
particular Corvette takes that classic styling and combines it with
a drivetrain built to be enjoyed. The 383 Stroker V8 provides the
additional performance enthusiasts appreciate, while the Muncie
4-speed manual transmission delivers the hands-on driving
experience that makes a vintage Corvette so entertaining. Add in
the 2023 frame-off restoration, rebuilt transmission, stainless
steel fuel system components, newer soft top, original Rally
Wheels, newer tires, upgraded seatbelts, two tops, and extensive
maintenance documentation, and you have a Corvette that has
benefited from substantial attention and investment. This is not
just another 1969 Corvette Convertible. It is a car with a story a
Kentucky barn find that was owned for approximately nine years by
its previous owner and ultimately treated to a complete frame-off
restoration. If youre looking for an early C3 Corvette that you can
show, cruise, and most importantly drive and enjoy, this Lemans
Blue 1969 Corvette Convertible deserves a serious look. 383 Stroker
V8. Muncie 4-speed. Frame-off restoration. Two tops. Original Rally
