This custom 1961 Volkswagen Beetle topless roadster is powered by a
newly rebuilt 1.8-liter air-cooled engine equipped with dual Weber
carburetors, paired with a four-speed manual transmission. The
engine features aftermarket connecting rods, pushrods and rocker
arms along with new intake and exhaust valves. Additional
mechanical equipment includes an electric fuel pump and electronic
ignition. New front shocks and swing-axle boots have been
installed. The braking system features aftermarket front disc
brakes, a new master cylinder and refreshed rear brakes. The steel
body is finished in custom paint and features custom reverse-hinged
doors.
