For Sale: 1972 De Tomaso Pantera in Reno, Nevada

This 1972 Detomaso Pantera is a mid-engine sports car produced by Italian automobile manufacturer De Tomaso from 1971 to 1992. Italian for "Panther", the Pantera was the automaker's most popular model, with over 7,000 manufactured over its twenty-year production run.  More than three-quarters of the production were sold by American Lincoln-Mercury dealers from 1972 to 1975; after this agreement ended De Tomaso kept manufacturing the car in even smaller numbers into the early 1990s.The engine is 5.8L (351 cu in) 4V, V-8 engine, and a five-speed manual transmission.   It has power disc brakes on all 4 wheels, power windows, tinted glass.It has a stereo system which is not currently working.The heater works and there is NO air-conditioning. The red exterior is in good condition. There are light swirl marks throughout the vehicle from normal wear and tear. There are small dents on driver's door and passenger door.The black leather-like interior is in good condition. All lights work including turn signals. The power windows, wipers and door locks all work as they should.The antenna does not work.There is an owner's manual.There is a spare tire, car jack and tools.  There is a "bra" for the front of the car. The tires are in good condition with a manufacturer's date of 4804.  The tires should be replaced for safety reasons given their age. The rims are in good condition with no scratches. The car runs and drives well. IT IS ALWAYS A GOOD IDEA TO GET AN INDEPENDENT THIRD-PARTY INSPECTION ON ANY USED CAR.
