This Shell Valley AC Cobra replica is powered by a new Chevy
Performance 502 CID V8. That powerhouse is built with AFR 2101
325cc heads, Comp 1.7 full roller rockers, hydraulic roller cam,
ARP head bolt kit, MSD 8.5mm wires, MSD Blaster coil, roller timing
set, hydraulic roller lifters, Moroso 6.5 quart oil pan, Moroso
high volume oil pump and pickup, Moroso dip stick, Edelbrock
polished Air Gap intake, Holley 650 Double Pumper 4-barrel
carburetor, MSD distributor, Cobra BBC headers and March serpentine
belt kit. A new automatic transmission built to handle the power
has been installed along with new transmission pan, and
transmission cooler. Grab the handle and drop it into drive as the
big block engine sends that power to a Ford 9-inch HD rear end with
aluminum third member assembly and 35-spline axles. As you can see
this Cobra has all the power it can handle! But you also must be
able to stop. So, the car has a Wilwood 6-piston big brake kit on
the front, Wilwood 4-piston rear brakes and a Wilwood master
cylinder. How about handling? Yes, it has that too with QA1 250#
rear and QA1 450# front springs with QA1 shocks. This car isn't
just about power though, it has jaw dropping good looks. The
classic curves of this AC Cobra replica have been painted in a high
gloss Slate Blue with Silver racing stripes. 18" Vintage Wheels ARE
Shelby wheels have been in new rear radial tires for plenty of
grip. Lug nut covers have also been installed for a clean and
finished look. No part was overlooked on this build. There are only
about 10,650 miles on the build of this car and it is ready for
anything you throw at it. The interior is done in a nice gray vinyl
to match the stripes and has Stewart Warner gauges installed in the
dash. New carpet and drink holders have just been installed.
Harnesses have been installed to keep you and your passenger safe
while you listen to your favorite tunes from the Pioneer head unit.
The trunk is nicely carpeted and houses the battery. This Cobra
comes with full documentation for the build in the form of
receipts.
