Under the hood resides a potent 351 Windsor V8 that has been bored
.030 over and fitted with TRW pistons. The engine has been
extensively upgraded with Edelbrock components, including an
Edelbrock aluminum intake, aluminum heads, lifters, pushrods, and
roller rockers. A 530-lift camshaft works with upgraded timing
gears and chain to provide strong performance throughout the
powerband. Fuel and ignition duties are handled by a new carburetor
along with a Mallory distributor and coil. Ceramic-coated headers
help manage under-hood temperatures while complementing the
performance-oriented engine setup.
Designed for spirited driving, the engine is supported by a large
aluminum radiator and an oil cooler with all-new oil lines. A new
fuel pump and filter supply the engine through completely new fuel
lines running from the tank to the carburetor. All-new gauges
provide updated instrumentation throughout the cockpit. Power is
sent through a Tremec five-speed manual transmission using a McLeod
clutch, pressure plate, and disc. The drivetrain has also been
refreshed with new motor mounts and a new transmission mount.
Power is delivered to the ground through a 3.73-geared Bronco
limited-slip rear end, providing an excellent combination of
acceleration and highway cruising capability. The chassis features
independent front suspension with double A-arms, front and rear
sway bars, and direct rack-and-pinion steering for precise control
and confident cornering. Fully adjustable QA1 coilover shocks at
all four corners allow drivers to tailor ride height and damping
dynamics to their exact preference.
High-performance Wilwood disc brakes and calipers provide massive,
predictable stopping power, complemented by stainless braided brake
lines throughout the system. Goodyear Eagle white-letter
performance tires are wrapped around classic Shelby-style knock-off
wheels, combining period-correct appearance with modern performance
and grip.
Inside, the open-top cockpit combines vintage racing aesthetics
with refined driver comfort. The interior features grey leather
bucket seating, plush carpeting, a classic wood-rimmed steering
wheel, traditional dashboard instrumentation, all-new gauges, and a
