GR Auto Gallery is pleased to present this exceptional,
one-of-a-kind 1977 Ford Granada Ghia 2-Door Sedan, finished in
striking Jade Green Metallic over a matching Jade leather interior.
Ordered directly from the factory by its original owner, its
distinctive factory configuration is documented and verified by a
Marti Report. Its smooth, elegant lines deliver genuine
presence-refined at first glance, yet unmistakably American muscle.
Power comes from a 302-2V Windsor V8 paired with a four-speed
manual overdrive transmission. Factory and comfort features include
bucket seats, heavy-duty suspension, power steering, power disc
brakes, air conditioning (currently non-functioning), an AM/FM
stereo, Mastercraft Avenger GT tires with a full-size spare, and a
custom shift knob. Ford manufactured 390,579 Granada's for the 1977
model year, but this car's combination of factory equipment and
specifications makes it a documented one-of-a-kind example, as
verified by its Marti Report. In 2023, this Granada received a
comprehensive mechanical rebuild that included the original engine,
bored cylinders, new pistons, and rebuilt suspension and drivetrain
components. The work strengthens the appeal of its 302-2V Windsor
V8 and four-speed manual overdrive drivetrain while preserving the
car's original character. Drive this one out of our showroom or
have us assist with shipping it to you anywhere in the United
States! Don't hesitate to call us with any questions or for more
information.
The Ford Granada was introduced for the 1975 model year as a
compact-to-midsize offering designed to provide buyers with a more
traditional American luxury experience in a smaller package.
Positioned above the Maverick and below Ford's larger sedans, the
Granada featured formal styling, a comfortable interior, and a
variety of available V8 engines. The Ghia trim represented the
upscale version of the Granada lineup, adding luxury-oriented
appointments and additional equipment. For 1977, the Granada
continued to offer a combination of traditional rear-wheel-drive
architecture, V8 power, and distinctive styling that appealed to
buyers looking for a comfortable American sedan with a more refined
character. Today, well-preserved and documented examples like this
Ghia are increasingly uncommon, particularly those equipped with
desirable drivetrain combinations and finished in distinctive
factory colors.
