4.2L 32 valve DOHC V8, ZF Automatic transmission, all new suspension components including Arnott coils, brand new Michelin Defender tires on all five rims, new brake rotors and pads, new LED headlights, new fuel pumps, leather interior like new, burl walnut trim like new, body has never been damaged, paint excellent, DVD player with seat-back screens, 6 disk changer in trunk, navigation system, heated front and rear seats, four zone climate controls, always garaged, oil changes every 5,000 miles, I purchased the car from the first owner 4 years ago with 54,000 miles on the odometer and I have put another 45,000 miles on in the last four years almost all of which was long distance freeway travel for vacations. Inspections are welcome, it is what it appears to be in the photos and video.
The car has been to many British Field Day events and classic car shows where it is always a crowd favorite. The DVD screens add to the character more of a limousine than a sports sedan, but a quick drive changes that impression. The car is squeak free, tight in turns, and powerful. An 80mph cruise down the freeway is quiet, smooth and comfortable either in the front or back seats. The leather is as soft and supple as it was when new.
The only repair needed during the last four years was the replacement of both fuel pumps. The suspension change was based upon the suspension default light coming on. We debated between new air struts and coils and chose the coils because of past experiences with Land Rover air suspension issues. The compressor and all the air lines are still in place if one chooses to add the air suspension back, although the car rides so nice and quiet I have never been tempted to do so.
Finding a sedan that will match this one will not be easy especially at this price. We simply ran out of room in the 2 car garage when we purchased a small travel trailer and a Range Rover to pull it. We love the Jaguar, but my wife loves her Fiat 500E so the car must go.
