1966 Chevrolet Chevelle Deluxe - Beautiful example of some rare model muscle that has been restored with plenty of Show & Go! Rock solid southern car from Mississippi that shows very well with vintage stripped down street machine looks mixed with some modern comfort. Powered by an iconic period correct Corvette "IL-code" 427ci-390hp big block engine which has been rebuilt with a few mild performance add-ons and matched to an upgraded Tremec 5-speed manual transmission. Also nicely equipped with a GM 12-bolt posi rear, factory power steering, power front disc brakes and updated suspension including boxed trailing arms, sway bars and performance springs/shocks. Car runs as good as it looks and is an absolute blast to drive anywhere. A Vintage Air A/C-Heat system has been installed along with a big aluminum radiator to keep cruising in any climate comfortable. Car really has a tough stance and looks the part sitting on 15" GM rally wheels with correct center caps wrapped in reproduction Firestone Wide Oval redline radial tread tires. Exterior is finished in the trim-tag correct shade of "Mist Blue Poly" with very nice chrome and trim from front to back. Body is laser straight with great panel fitment but there are some minor paint imperfections showing in a couple nooks and crannies (pictured). Interior contrasts nicely in the also trim-tag correct two-tone blue tones throughout with vinyl seats and floor mounted shifter accompanied by the correct "Knee Knocker" tach with accessory gauges mounted under the dash. Stereo has been upgraded with a RetroSound AM/FM/Bluetooth unit for your listening pleasure.Engine bay is nice and tidy with the appropriate components and trunk is clean with original trunk mat, jack and spare. The underside is also very solid and presentable. In a world full of cut-up Malibu's and SS-clones, this Chevelle dares to be different.
