Camper Special Deluxe. Fresh remanufactured Ford 352 2brl by Jasper Engines with warranty. Original block was too scored to rebuild. Jasper had a period correct 352 that came with the truck already built so intake, heads, carb and manifolds were moved over. Build is to original factory specs. This truck is not fast but pulls great. It’s geared with 410’s with the 3/4 ton eight lug axle. It had to haul a slide in camper remember? The tailgate is in amazing condition since it was off the truck for so many years to accommodate the camper. New engine is still in break in period as of this posting. The interior is mostly original. The headliner and door cards have been replaced by LMC reproductions. Amazingly the dash and doors have not been cut into for a stereo or speakers. The original rubber floor is in amazing shape. No holes or splits. All gauges, horn, turn signals, lights, interior light, washer motor and heater work. The bench retains the original vinyl but is very worn and is covered by the saddle blanket cover you see in the photos. Purchased from my neighbor in 2023 after her ownership of 26 years. A true survivor in every sense of the word. Original owners log book shows this truck originated from Southgate Ford in Seattle and sold on July 11,1966. Complete and fascinating history. Original owners logbook shows travels to Oregon,California,Arizona,New Mexico, Colorado, Wyoming, South Dakota, Idaho and New Hampshire! (Interesting story). I was even able to contact a family member of the original owner in Seattle. This truck is ready to enjoy as is, restore or hot rod it. Tons of documentation.
