This 1954 Chevrolet 3100 Pickup is a cherished part of the family. This truck that has been part of the family’s story since it was purchased brand new, in 1954. Originally put to work on our farm in North Carolina, this classic vehicle has faithfully served through decades of changing seasons and countless memories. Eventually, it made its way out to Montana where devoted time and care was put to restoring it and ensuring it’s ready to take on new adventures.
The truck retains its original 235ci 6-cylinder motor and drivetrain and features the iconic “3 on the tree” manual transmission, a nostalgic reminder of a bygone era. While the odometer and gas gauge aren’t currently functioning, I chose not to repair them in order to preserve the authentic character and history of the vehicle, states the owner.
The mileage, estimated at around 60,000, reflects its gentle use and the many years it spent safely garaged.
