Welcome to Street Dreams as we celebrate our 28th year in the
classic and muscle car business. This shockingly gorgeous 1967 Ford
Mustang is a top-shelf tribute to one of the most beautiful and
potent muscle cars ever conceived: Shelby American's 1967 GT500
Super Snake that the company originally built as a demonstrator for
Goodyear and its Thunderbolt tires. Shelby engineer Fred Goodell
used the 427 Le Mans engine from a GT40 racer and the rest, as they
say, is history. Old Carroll himself piloted the beast to 170 mph
during this testing and Goodell averaged 142 mph for 500 miles.
This stunning 1967 Mustang accurately recreates the visceral
experience of driving that performance legend. Peek beneath the
correct vented fiberglass hood and you'll find a real 1967
cross-bolted 427 V8 (CN C7AE-A) that's been fortified with dual
Holley carburetors, an aluminum intake manifold, a Crane solid
lifter camshaft, forged JE pistons, headers, MSD ignition, and a HD
aluminum radiator with twin fans and shroud. Additional features
include power steering, Wilwood power 4-wheel disc brakes, Tremec
3550 5-speed manual transmission with a Borgeson hydraulic clutch,
HD suspension with front and rear stabilizer bars, Viking
adjustable shocks, traction bars, and subframe connectors, JBA
stainless steel dual exhaust, Ford 9 rear end with 3.73 gears,
console, beautiful Shelby steering wheel, Sport Deck folding rear
seat, Phantom gauges, correct Shelby roll bar and harness belts, a
newer audio system, and B.F.G. Radial T/A's (215/60R15 F, 225/60R15
R) wrapped around Shelby Magstar wheels. This stallion is
extraordinary from its stunning Bright White paint with Blue Pearl
metal flake to its detailed chassis and engine compartment. And as
beautiful as it is, the real joy comes when you get behind the
wheel. This tribute to one of history's greatest muscle cars is
going to be the centerpiece of someone's collection. Will it be
yours? Helmet and gloves sold separately. Street Dreams
