This Defender is a great opportunity for someone who is looking to get into the awesome world of Defender ownership without breaking the bank, and still having a nice and reliable rig! The Defender is fairly original, and shows signs of wear and tear throughout the last 3 decades of use in South Africa, but overall it presents pretty nicely and drives rather well! The truck is also equipped with air conditioning, although it does not work at the moment.
This Defender is a South African import, and thus it has a GALVANIZED FRAME, which is a great asset to have for a Defender, as the frame will NEVER rust. There is NO RUST on the frame, as it is galvanized. The body has bubbling paint here and there from years of road use, but overall looks great. The cloth interior is fairly original, but overall looks very presentable and clean. No major blemishes on the interior or exterior. The engine is in great shape, its a V8 engine with plenty of power for highway driving. The Defender runs and drives pretty nice, and performs great on modern US highways, thanks to the V8 engine! The 5 speed manual gearbox shifts through all of the gears nice and smoothly. The truck is priced to sell at $29,995 but we are open to reasonable offers.
