One Family. Sixty Years. One Remarkable Mustang.
Some cars are restored. Others are simply preserved.
This 1965 Ford Mustang Hardtop has remained in the same family since the day it was purchased new.
My husband’s great-aunt purchased the Mustang brand new in 1965. She watched it roll off the delivery truck at the dealership and drove it home herself. She drove and cared for it until she was no longer able to continue because of her age. At Christmas in 1993, she gave the Mustang to my husband.
It became his daily driver and later an important part of our family’s life. Our three daughters affectionately called it “the Sunday car.” They loved riding in the back seat to church with the windows down while people smiled, waved, and watched the Mustang go by.
The Mustang remained in regular use until 2015 and has been garage-kept and protected since.

MORE THAN A CAR
Selling this Mustang is bittersweet for our family. It has been part of our lives for decades and is connected to memories we will always treasure—especially those Sunday drives to church with our daughters in the back seat and the windows down.
We’re ready for someone else to become part of its story.
We hope its next owner will appreciate not only the Mustang itself, but also the history, care, and memories that come with it.
