things are more beloved than a single cab, short bed Chevy C10. The
perfect boxy design combines simplicity, with great colors and a
wide selection of powerplants that make for easy hot rodding and a
lot of fun behind the wheel. This 1972 Chevrolet C10 checks a lot
of those boxes, and is finished in an outstanding two-tone shade of
Tangier Orange and white. An original California truck, this C10
has been treated to a mild customization that still remains true to
the original truck, but makes it way more fun to drive. The first
thing you notice about this truck is the striking paint scheme.
With the body in Tangier Orange with a white center section and cab
all separated by chrome stripping, the truck looks very 1970s, and
the paint and body quality is exceptional. On the tailgate is a
wood applique that sits beneath the Chevrolet script and adds a bit
of additional visual interest, while a full-width egg crate grille
up front gives the truck a purposeful appearance. The truck sits on
a set of 18-inch 5-spoke Ridler wheels which have the perfect
stance thanks to a QA1 4-link rear suspension with adjustable
coil-overs and a lowered front suspension.Open the door and you're
met by an outstanding black and orange two-tone interior with the
seats and console out of a K5 Blazer. The houndstooth seat centers
look very period correct, and the addition of shoulder seatbelts
keep you safe. In front of the driver sits a polished billet
3-spoke leather-wrapped steering wheel on a tilt column framing a
set of Dakota Digital gauges.Under the hood sits a 350ci ZZ V8
crate engine that is topped with a Holley Sniper 2 fuel injection
system and breathes through a set of headers with a Magnaflow
exhaust. For some added visual interest, chrome valve covers and an
air cleaner cover have been installed and a modern wiring harness
improves reliability and safety. Power is sent through a 4-speed
200R4 automatic gearbox to the 12-bolt rear end with a
posi-traction setup. Additionally, this truck features power disc
brakes, factory air conditioning, a paint matched fire
extinguisher, and LED lighting.Widely regarded as one of the best
looking classic trucks out there, the 1970s C10 is a real sought
after vehicle and finding one that has the subtle modifications
this one does is remarkably hard. Offered in a great color
combination with a host of great upgrades, this is the perfect C10
for the enthusiast that wants a truck they can get it, turn the key
and start enjoying day one.*----*For more information on this 1972
