For Sale at Auction: 1972 Pontiac GTO in Las Vegas, Nevada

This 1972 Pontiac GTO Ram Air is powered by a matching-numbers 455ci HO V-8 engine rated at 300hp, paired with a Turbo-Hydramatic automatic transmission and Safe-T-Track rear end. The date-coded matching-numbers drivetrain includes 7F6 Ram Air cylinder heads, rocker-arm oil baffles, an aluminum intake manifold and an 800 CFM Quadrajet carburetor dated the 245th day of 1971. The carburetor was professionally rebuilt. The engine retains its unitized distributor and factory Ram Air system with a GM Ram Air air cleaner stamped AC Delco on the underside. The XT-code rear axle is dated the 348th day of 1971. Replacement GM fan belts, radiator hoses and clamps are installed. A factory-style Gardner full-length exhaust system is fitted with factory-style brackets and no welds. The undercarriage has been dry-ice blasted, and the factory oxide-painted floors are retained. Factory-style replacement spiral shocks are installed, and the car is equipped with power brakes, as well as air conditioning. The Adriatic Blue exterior was repainted in 2000 and retains all-original sheet metal. Exterior equipment includes a replacement white vinyl top, Endura front bumper, hood scoops, T3 headlights, Rally II wheels, wheel-opening moldings and five new Firestone G70-14 tires. The factory date-coded glass is retained except for the replaced windshield. The white interior features Strato bucket seats, a front console, custom cushion steering wheel, original seat belts, wood-grain trim, and an unused cigarette lighter and ashtray. The factory AM/FM radio, front and rear speakers and dash gauges are functional. Additional equipment includes power steering, variable-ratio steering and Soft Ray glass.
