This is an Al Grenning, CCAS Certified, original engine, numbers matching L79 Corvette. We hear numbers matching all the time, its overused. Without verification or documentation, it's all just noise. Al is the industry accepted guru for mid-year corvettes and he has certified this as an original engine car. Rarified air.

Now let's move on to the car itself. This is one of the best quality mid-year corvettes we have ever had in our possession, it is restored to an incredible level and is, absolutely, an investment grade car. Count this car as the best of the best.

The recipient of a ground up, frame off, restoration that was completed in 2013 this car presents as if it was completed last year. The quality throughout is simply stunning.

Equipped with FACTORY SIDEPIPES, a close ratio 4-speed transmission (numbers matching), a speed minder speedo, a factory black vinyl hardtop, this is one unique factory Sunfire Yellow 67 roadster. The correct black interior is impressive, the engine compartment is impressive, the chrome is impressive, the underside is impressive. The paint is some of the best we have seen, laid down flat and beautifully with no appreciable imperfections even after 13 years.

Some feel the 327 L79 small block Chevrolet engine, which produces a factory rated 350 horsepower, was one of Chevys most venerable engines ever produced. It winds up fast, makes great power and is almost bulletproof. This car is a strong performer that would be comfortable at a concours event. Its that good.
